It’s a well-known fact in the pest professional world that bed bugs HATE heat.  In fact, bed bugs perish after just a few minutes in high heat environments.  This is why the booming business of bed bug heat treatments has exploded in the last decade. With DIY heat rentals, YOU can kill bed bugs as quickly and effectively as the professionals do.

Here’s how:

1. Place your order on our website

Schedule your rental right on our website with the scheduling app, located here.  You can choose a package that is right for your needs and add the additional cords or splitters needed to complete your job.  As part of the rental process, you will be asked to schedule your rentals for a minimum of 1 day, but you could keep them for longer if needed.

2. Watch the instructional videos

Once your order has been placed through our website we will contact you within 24 hours to finalize the appointment and set up payment.  While you are waiting you can watch our instructional videos and get familiar with the easy to use equipment that you will be using for your heat treatment. To access the videos you will need your log in and password created at the rental checkout.

3. Download and print the instruction sheets

We also provide instruction sheets which will be available to you after your rental is scheduled.  Download and print these instruction sheets to use as a quick guide while prepping and executing your heat treatment.

4. Heat Those Bugs!

Once your rental day has come you can either pick up the heat equipment from us OR we will deliver right to your door.  Follow the instructions and perform your DIY heat treatment.  Don’t forget to complete the required prep steps listed in the instructions sheets.

5. Follow Up

Follow up your heat treatments with regular visual inspections of the area every few days.  You should also vacuum the area and wash all bedding and linens in the treatment area on high heat. If you see any bugs during your visual inspections, another treatment may be necessary.
